Dead lake behind Parle factory

Yesterday i came across a dead lake just behind Parle factory enroute nelamangala.

Earlier it was a feeder tank for irrigation on the downstream of nelamangala. Now its completely covered with weeds with all the peenya and dasarahalli sewage getting discharged into it.
I thought you could ask someone to document it.

The contest is a good idea

Hi,

The contest on the lost lakes of Bangalore is a great idea to highlight the sad state of water bodies in urban areas in India.

I hope this leads to someone in power taking notice of the lakes.
